BUILDS
Every rig we build is engineered from the ground up for the specific terrain its owner will run. No cookie-cutter packages. No compromises on materials.

Three signature builds — each engineered for extended off-grid living on BC's most demanding terrain. No compromises on capability, comfort, or build quality.
Everything done in-house at our Surrey workshop. No farming out. No shortcuts.
We stock and install the best overland gear available. If we wouldn't run it in BC, we don't sell it.
From the workshop floor to the backcountry. Every build gets tested on the same terrain you'll be running.
Tom started Overland Custom after spending years watching shops build rigs that looked great in the parking lot and fell apart on the Hurley. He'd been wheeling BC's backcountry his whole life and knew exactly what the terrain demanded.
The Surrey shop opened with one lift, one welder, and a reputation built entirely on word of mouth. Fifteen years later, nothing has changed about the approach — every build gets the same obsessive attention to detail, the same BC-proven engineering, and the same honest conversation about what your rig actually needs.
We don't build show trucks. We build rigs that work — in the rain, in the mud, at 2am on a logging road with no cell service. That's the standard, and it's not negotiable.
Every weld, every wire, every build — done in our Surrey shop.
We test our builds on the same roads you'll be running. We know what fails.
You get a real quote upfront. No surprises, no add-ons.
We build rigs that outlast the truck. That's the standard.
Tell us about your rig and what you're trying to build. Tom handles every inquiry himself — no sales team, no runaround. He'd rather talk than type, so if you're serious about a build, pick up the phone.
Tom responds to every inquiry personally. Expect a reply within 24 hours on business days — though a phone call is always the fastest way to get the conversation started.
